Background

I'm a Product Designer who genuinely loves this work. Not in a corporate-tagline way, but in a "still thinking about a UX problem at midnight" way. Every project is a new puzzle: a user frustrated by something, a business goal that needs to translate into pixels, a flow that could be five steps instead of twelve.

My background is in Computer Science, which means I sit comfortably at the intersection of design and engineering. I can talk to developers in their language and push back when a design constraint gets thrown at me that isn't actually a constraint. I've worked across fintech, hospitality, healthcare, and SaaS — and each one has made me a sharper designer for the next.

When I'm not working, I'm probably hanging out with friends or preparing for another flight in Microsoft Flight Simulator. I picked it up during COVID and have learned an incredible amount about aviation systems and procedures since then.

What drives me

Constant learning

A new tool, a new framework, a new trend. I genuinely enjoy the process of figuring things out.

Hard problems

The messier the brief, the more invested I get. I do my best work when the problem isn't obvious.

The actual user

I research before I wireframe. The person using the thing is always more interesting than the thing itself.
